The Choices
The first and most simple option are our fixed light alu clad windows, whose function is to simply provide a clear view of the outside and to maintain a comfortable temperature indoors, as they have no opening mechanism.
The next are top guided double or triple glazed windows, which as the name would suggest, are guided from the top for easy ventilation and cleaning.
Our side hung double glazed windows are based on the traditional window mechanism. This is one of the most popular options amongst our customers.
Similar in nature to the top guided option, Rationel top swing windows open to almost 180 degrees. This makes them pretty much reversible and able to be cleaned with ease from the inside. Perfect for upper floor apartments with limited access.
Based on the side hung window, the side guided option can also be cleaned from the inside and with no external hinges and an adjustable sash, they’re as good looking as they are versatile.
The last opening mechanism on our list is the tilt and turn variety, which is another that can be cleaned from the inside. In addition to this, their inward opening design makes them ideal as ‘escape’ or emergency exit windows.
