We’ve written about corner windows before on our blog and we’ve mentioned some of their advantages, as well as their novelty factor. We’ve talked about the corner windows that don’t actually have a corner, thus offering a clear and large view of the scenery in front of them. Usually, you’d want such a window to exploit the view and not cover it in any way. But if you’re not the type to have your windows undressed, we have some suggestions for you. Some ideas on how to elegantly dress them.

Hang them so that when they are pulled, the windows are free from any obstruction. But when they are pulled, you’ll have privacy and have a darkened room. (image 1)
If you just want to dress a your corner windows, you can add drapes only in the corners. Like in our 2nd image.
Window shades

Easiest solution: window shades. They won’t obstruct the view when they are up and they will offer privacy and prevent light from entering when they are down. (image 3)

Should you opt for valances, they won’t give you privacy, but they can be made to beautifully finish your room. So, you may want to add some blinds too. (image 4)
Sheer window treatment

Looking at image 5, you’ll see the beauty of such an arrangement. Classic, elegant and refined.
Roman shades

Again, if a darker room and more intimacy is what you are looking for, another option would be the roman shades. They pull up easily and can really add to a room when they are pulled down. (image 6)
