The Groups’ aim is to make a profit to sustain growth and independence and to live up to its social responsibility; at the heart of the organisation is a set of Charitable Foundations created to assisted employees and their local communities as well as funding a wide range of environmental projects that support biodiversity, climate and sustainable production, and cultural and social programmes to create inclusive societies both home and abroad.
The Foundation donates 15 million pounds to environmental and climate projects every year. Together with several foundations associated with the VKR Group, it funds nonprofit scientific, cultural, artistic and social initiatives.
